Here is a little bit about how far we have come these years.
We opened on Cabot Street in 1989 as a family salon focusing on children's hair cuts for $1.00 per year of age.
In the 90’s our salon began to direct their attention towards curly hair cutting and by 2005 we became true Curly Girls. All of our stylists have been trained to cut straight hair and curly hair. We are considered “curly hair specialists” because of the special training from Deva and Lorraine Massey. Everyone of our stylists cut curly hair dry so they can concentrate on each and every curl. It was a training that has changed our lives and our clients.
In 2010 the salon took their first salon trip to NY for the Premiere Hair show as a team, we then went to Orlando in June 2012 and we love learning and staying on the leading edge of fashion and style as a team. In 2013 we went to an intense 2 day course in waltham and we went back to NY to study Curly Hair in 2014, 2016 2018 and 2019!
One of the special causes that we raise money for is Breast Cancer Awareness. Every October you will see our salon in Pink and a percentage of our sales are donated..
We also support during the month of March MS, we are helping to find a cure....
